This case study is based on a Confidential Unnamed Project on “Harman –  A Samsung Company”.

Case Study Brief:

  • “Project Desktop” and “Project Mobile” belong to Digital Program
  • “Project Analytics” belong to Analytics Program
  • All 3 projects belong to Customer Experience Portfolio
  • Resources are fix and have been working in similar projects for the past 3 years
  • None of the work is dependent on each other
  • There are 4 sprints and it has been planned from Release Plan Baseline that each sprint team should be delivering 25% of the entire release scope
  • All Projects belong to Celebrations release
  • Next tabs show where each team is standing on their progress after the completion of sprint 3 and start of sprint 4
  • Contents of user stories are very generic, that being said avoid trying to understand their meanings
  • Epics are the main functional slices that business is very interested to see the progress
  • All estimations are done in story points. Story point definitions have the same meaning across all projects
  • First start in this tab then navigate to Project Tabs and finally navigate to Case Study Questions
  • Average historical velocities of all 3 teams have been 40 points
  • Definition of Done = Dev Complete+ QA Complete+ PO Accepted
